Today was supposed to be another easy day at school since I only had one lecture on the timetable. About 45 minutes before the class was meant to start, we got a message that it had been cancelled, so I didn’t have to leave home at all.

Because of that, I stayed indoors for the whole day. It was quiet, but I used the time well. I got some rest, took care of a few small things I had been postponing, and spent time planning for the football match my friends and I might play tomorrow. We talked about who would be available, how to split into teams, and the best time for everyone to meet so it doesn’t clash with other plans.

Even though I didn’t attend any classes, the day didn’t feel wasted. It gave me space to slow down, think ahead, and get things ready for tomorrow. I’m glad it turned out this way. It feels good to have a calm start and already have the match planned out. I’m looking forward to it.
