Embracing God's Grace - God wants to give us the undeserved gift of His Grace every single day. Grace is God's unmerited favor, and something that we can't earn under our own strength. However, we have to choose to accept this grace, and that means turning away from our sins daily to receive God's Grace like new each day.

Seek First God's Wisdom - In our lives we are faced with decisions that can have generational effects, and thankfully as Christians we have access to a God who wants to guide us. All we have to do is ask and our Lord will hear us and give us the wisdom we need to make the correct decision in any and all situations.

Am I Prepared To Meet God - A basic of life, not just Christianity, is that we will all face death. Are we prepared to meet God, and have we not only accepted Christ, but have we lived like we've accepted Him? Take time this week to reflect on this question and if you are living like Christ.

Getting Back To The Basics - In the same way that major teams who were once successful and fall out of favor need to get back to the basics of their sport, we as Christians must always remember the basics of our faith. It's the basics of our faith that first lit a fire within us to follow Christ with all we have. So this week let's revisit why we are Christians in the first place.

You've Got Nothing To Lose When Asking - When we ask God in faith through prayer for things in our lives we have to remember that there's a possibility that the answer will be no. This doesn't mean that God is against us, or that we've done something wrong. It just means that what we desire isn't intended for us. God still loves us and always will, and like a parent, God knows when to tell us no for our benefit.

Overcoming The Fear of Asking - Rejection is the number one reason most people don't ask for something. This is true in our faith walk as well, and some of the reasons people don't ask when they pray are the results of not feeling worthy. Our God has proven to us that we're just as worthy of love and respect as His Son Jesus Christ. So ask God with confidence, knowing that He loves you, and if His will aligns with your request then expect blessings!

Get Specific When You Ask - When we ask for something from our friends or family we need to be specific in order to get what we actually want. The same is true with our Heavenly Father. We have to be able to tell God what we want in a specific way.

Ask Those Who Are Able - We don't ask of those who we know aren't able to give comfortably, and we often judge the ability to give based on what we see. However, when someone offers their gift to us from a place of desire to bless others then we should be willing to allow them to give that blessing. We should not seek to gain from those who are not able though.

The Neglected Principle of Asking - As Christians, we sometimes miss out on great opportunities and realizing our full potential because we don't step out in faith. We fail to ask, therefore we fail to receive.
