Every morning, evening and every hour in between let us reorient ourselves to the Lord, seeking first His Kingdom.
The seeds of faith are grown in the soil of loose ends and uncertainty.
You only live once, be holy. Holiness is often misconceived as a bland, no fun existence, however, holiness is to become most fully who God has called you to be. Look at creation, it is far from bland and boring, it is awe inspiring.
Christ invites us to follow Him, He calls us out of ourselves to lives of holiness. This invitation is exciting, yet terrifying for it surely will demand everything of us, as any calling ought to.
Our lives are not out there, but are here, now, in the everyday particulars of the places we go, things we do and people we encounter. However, we find ourselves, "looking over the wall," for something else. Christ calls us to be faithful stewards of the little share of toil in His Kingdom that we have been entrusted with.
"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful," (Hebrews 10:23). A verse that can be your rock amongst the crashing waves of life, uncertainty, and doubt.
“Living for Christ will cost you your life, living for yourself will cost you eternity.”
What you consume consumes you, so what are you feeding your mind and soul?
