New parameters approved Feb. 2 by the Floresville Independent School District (ISD) board of trustees mean that a strictly four-day school calendar is off the table for 2026-27. These parameters guide the calendar development by the administration and the calendar committee to create sample calendars which include 165 student days, 470 minutes per day, and to end the school year by May 27, 2027.
