To be a follower of Jesus is to be in love with God at the core of who we are.

The need for renewal comes when we neglect our relationship with God and other things steal our attention.

When we don’t put God first, we almost always put ourselves first and everyone suffers.

When we gather one of the most important things we do is lift our hearts and voices to God.

There are times in our lives when it becomes apparent that God is interested in doing a new thing within us.

It might coincide with the changing of the year, the changing of the seasons, the changing of life circumstances, or the changing of a physical location.

From time to time, God is interested in moving each of us into a deeper and more meaningful relationship with him.

This can be scary. It can be hard. It can be confusing.

Either way, if we can recognize the times when God wants to renew us, we can lean in and allow him to do his good work.

A Blue Christmas Service is a way we can recognize the depth of the season and help process those negative feelings that might be held during the holidays. By doing so, we can all celebrate more fully, knowing we have acknowledged those who are no longer with us or what we might have left behind. Everyone is invited and welcome to join us.
