Garrison Doctor threw a dart at a calendar almost a year in advance to hunt permit in Mexico at Playa Blanca Lodge.  As we all know in fishing, we simply can't control the conditions.  He joins co-host Corinne Doctor to tell stories of making the most of a tough weather week!

Corinne Doctor shares the story of hooking, fighting and landing the Golden Dorado you hope to see in the Parana River. Norm Maktima is an incredible artist, but first and foremost he is a really fishy guy.  Norm sits down with co-hosts Garrison and Corinne Doctor to tell stories of his days on the team USA fly fishing team, the inspiration from his San Felipe, Laguna and Hopi roots in his art and the trio talks about his newly released RepYourWater collab collection.

Bluegrass and fly fishing fit together perfectly so it is no surprise that Chris Pandolfi, banjo player of the grammy nominated Infamous Stringdusters, is also a passionate fly angler.  Co-hosts Corinne and Garrison Doctor sat down with Chris to discuss how music, fly fishing and art all go together and even found time to hear some of his favorite stories from being on the water.

Co-hosts Garrison and Corinne Doctor sit down to hear how the world's largest fly fishing tournament, The Cheeky Schoolie Tournament, got started and how much it has contributed over the years to striper conservation. As the name implies, started by Cheeky Fishing, Ted Upton is one of the founders of both the reel company and the tournament. In this episode he shares about the tournament and has a few striper stories to share as well.

Co-hosts Corinne and Garrison Doctor are joined by season one guest Johann DuPreez once again!  In this episode recorded four years after Johann's first Fishing Stories appearance, he tells stories of battling one of the world's largest freshwater fish on fly rods through Indifly where he works as program director.  The Rewa project was the original Indifly project working with the indigenous community to helps conserve arapaima through fly fishing.
