In this episode, we break down and discuss the film BATMAN. Released in 1989, it was directed by Tim Burton and produced by Jon Peters and Peter Guber. It is the first installment of Warner Bros.' initial Batman film series. The film stars Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Jack Nicholson as his archnemesis the Joker, and Kim Basinger as Bruce’s love interest Vicky Vale. The film takes place early in Batman’s war on crime with him coming face to face with the Joker.
On the Fistful of Cinema Podcast, we are here to tackle some movies both young and old. Now The name fistful of cinema itself is a play on words on one of my favorite western films Fistful of Dollars! Not only does it help give a great podcast title, it definitely helps lend what our intentions are for this podcast. We hope to offer unique perspectives for movies that are near and dear to people's hearts and the more obscure films that we can hopefully bring more to light! Thank you so much for tuning in and expect more to come!
