Which scene was your favorite?
This trilogy was a quick and easy read/ listen to. The world and protagonist weren't particularly unique, but it flowed better than most and did some things with the mythology that most urban fantasy stories shy away from. Overall I liked this series.
Gods , Gods
This was a great Urban Fantasy. Even thought i have not read the first two books, i had no problem following the story. I hope there will be more in this series. The story line was great. Each character was great. Joe Hempell really did a great job narrating. He is one of the best. He always does a great job.

Joe Hempel knocked this out of the ballpark. He kept it more interesting than the story line.
As the finale in the trilogy series I expected more depth and a longer progression to the climax. Unfortunately, it was too brief and not completely satisfying. After all that is done and said, if you cut out the "catch me ups" in books two and three, this could have been an all-in-one urban fantasy and been worthwhile.
I'm really pleased I was able to listen to this within a month and not have swallowed this bitterness of unmet expectations.

A great ending to an entertaining trilogy! The story picks up right where the last installment left off & we find Frank Butcher still in the mode of trying to save the world.
Plenty of magic, mythology, gods & goddesses, a touch of romance & loads of action....what more could you ask for?
The narrator, Joe Hempel, does an excellent job & definitely adds a lot to the book. I truly enjoyed listening to this trilogy & will definitely be looking for more books by these authors. I have to say that I am going to miss Frank's snarky attitude!
The battles will be even more epic than before
This is the third installment in this series. The author brings the characters in the story is a whole new level's new alliances, betrayals and fascinating twists that will leave you shocked. Romances become complicated evil gods out of lovecraftian lore are taking over the universe. And of course our unwitting initially unwilling hero must save everybody. So how is it going to manage it to you in a have to listen or read to find out. Enjoy this latest chapter and what is a truly wonderful series expertly narrated.
