Lenora went on to explain how she developed the habit of total abnegation during her childhood in her native Trinidad & Tobago by watching her mother constantly doing chores and taking care of her family by being the first member to rise in the mornings and the last member of the household to go to sleep. Lenora explains how she was able to break the cycle by learning to love herself and caring for herself in order to be more present for her family and friends.
