Scripture says we’re to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. God does the transformation but we need to call out the lies and exchange them for God’s truth. “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” (Philippians 4:8, NASV) (emphasis added)

They can help us break free from old habits and mistakes of the past and choose to accept God’s grace, no matter where we’ve been. We can remember that God has a plan for us and that includes being set free from the habit patterns and chains that hold us back.

Biblical Affirmations are just that – biblical truths repeated, affirmed, and believed until they are deeply ingrained into your entire being.

God can heal my anxiety but I am also an active participant. I can start letting go of my anxiety by choosing new ways of thinking and relating.

Worry can so easily steal our joy and our gratitude. Use these affirmations for worry to stay grounded in God’s truth and remind yourself that you’re not alone in what you face.

It helps me tremendously through that rough season. Everytime the enemy speak lies to me about being rejected, or a failure. I speak these affirmations over myself.

Say the affirmations, and believe them in your heart. Remember, we trust in God’s faithfulness, not in how strong our own faith is. Just a little mustard-seed amount of faith is more than enough! (See Matthew 17:20.)

There is something to be said about starting the day with God’s Word in your heart and on your mind.

Catch Your Critic

Learn to notice when you're being self-critical so you can begin to stop. For example, notice when you say things to yourself that you wouldn't say to a good friend or a child.

Through Christ, not my own strength or actions, all things are possible.
