It was all really cool and novel when we started, but when you are trying to do a million things in a confined space with severe restrictions on your life, there has to be a point where we all declare enough is enough. So how do you motivate yourself (and your fitness) out of it?
In todays show we are going to look at motivation. Around 80% of new years resolutions are broken by around early March. With Covid 19 etc etc that could accelerate how many of those remaining ones fail. So how do you stay motivated to keep on track?
It is well known that exercise is good for us for very obvious reasons, but did you know about all the OTHER benefits for mental and emotional health. Exercise promotes a range of chemical reactions in the brain, releasing both the well known dopamines and also norepinephrine which controls stress response.
