Are you on of those people who gauges the effectiveness of their workout off of their fitness tracker? Do you find yourself discouraged, or discounting the work and effort you put in because your calories burned isn’t to a certain number or you forgot to start your watch for the first 10 minutes of your workout? If so, I’m here to really challenge you today.
It is time to STOP gauging your workouts off of your fitness trackers. It doesn’t matter if it’s apple, Garmin, or fit bit. You are doing yourself a huge disservice by doing this. Yes, it can be motivating to see those numbers, but your fitness tracker should truly only be used as a means of motivation and encouragement and in this episode I’m going to take the time to explain why this is so important.
