He also works the Paraíso Oceánico’s security under the cantankerous Colonel John Aloysius Crocker.

His assortment of colorful friends includes Sergeant Nick "Marty" Martin, Woody, and Byron "Bad" Cody. They hang out at the Club Mediterranean and the Back-Door Pub and along the beach itself. Crud drives a 1966 blue Corvette and is often forced into high speed chases, sometimes with his girlfriend Maura "Queenie" McGonigal, a local TV reporter.
