It’s our fourth Quell as Fighting in The War Room (and our 2nd 100th episode as a foursome), and we’ve all stopped going it alone. It’s time to meet the significant others, the people who have put up with us podcasting multiple times a week for years and years. David’s fiancé Elisa says David’s not trolling you, Katey’s husband Michael would sometimes rather watch House Hunters, Matt Patches’ better half Michelle proves to be the saner party and Da7e’s girlfriend Java has things to say about Jane Austen adaptations.

This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David kick things off with Finding Nemo and it’s upcoming sequel Finding Dory. Patches doesn’t remember liking Nemo and is suspcious of Dory, so David tries to help. Then, Patches has two documentaries he wants to pimp in the mini segment Tickle, about an online tickling group and Nuts about a historical figure. Finally, recent have all the hosts thinking about escapism and how movies can provide that in a variety of ways.

This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David want to talk about Zoos as entertainment and/or cruelty. Some news items have Patches wondering if documentaries or even virtual reality provides the same connection to the other things in the world while Da7e “well, actually”s the premise. Before all that, Katey saw Now You See Me 2 and liked it which really pisses of David. Also, we made Katey play a little bit of 1994’s Warcraft: Orcs and Humans before Friday’s review of Duncan Jone’s adaptation.

Please Note: Da7e suffered from verbal dyslexia during Fighting In The War Room Episode 120 and knows that he said “Casual” every time he meant “Causal.” Rest assured his soul has died 1000 deaths since then and he’s eternally sorry. Thank you for letting us know, you can stop now.
This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David are here to debate bad decisions. First, Patches and David saw Adam Sandler’s second Netflix movie The Do-Over with David Spade and…ugh. Then, a thought experiment about making Katey’s unborn child a baby movie star followed by a long segment three where we debate how much Johnny Depp’s recent allegations of domestic abuse can really hurt his franchise.

This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David fix their audio and deliver a whole show! AMC has finally brought a Preacher adaptation to screen? Is it working for our hosts, who didn’t read the graphic novel (except for Da7e, who did)? Then, Independence Day: Resurgence released an almost 5 minute trailer. That is too long. Finally, SPOILERS FOR GAME OF THRONES in segment 3 when we debate the perils and perks of time travel in an ongoing narrative.

This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David suffer some technical difficulties, so this week’s segment 3 about hte “Game of Thrones” phenomena had to get cut (it was full of static and pauses, you would have hated it). After a now ironic couple of reviews that include audio quality knocks, the team takes on Weiner, the new documentary that closely follows the Anthony Weiner scandal. Then, Patches is on the Dakota Johnson train now that he’s seen How to be Single. Then the show wraps up because of technical difficulties. Drag. We’ll fix it.
