Fitz is joined by UFC lightweight Evan Elder, who makes his 3rd appearance in the Octagon in July.

Evan is coming off a Fight of the Night result vs. Nazim Sadykov, one which he technically lost after it was stopped because of a cut over his right eye.  Elder was up 2-0 on all judges' scorecards, so he is looking to return for a big win.

He has a great story of chasing his dream to be a pro fighter, from moving out to Stockton, California to join the Diaz brothers' gym, to now calling Kill Cliff FC in Florida home with some other great UFC contenders.

He has a great level of maturity for someone who's just 26-years-old and is enjoying the journey every step of the way!

Paul Felder is a good buddy of mine from our time together as UFC commentators.  We started working for the UFC at the same time on season 1 of Dana White's Contender Series back in 2017.

Felder blossomed as a fighter during the latter stages of his career, reaching the top 10 of the lightweight division in 2019 and 2020.

In this episode, he discusses why triathlon gripped him as he was done fighting as he embraces challenges that most won't tackle.  He also looks back on his fighting career and breaks down the finer parts of acting and what he hopes to accomplish next!

Marc Montoya joins Fitz to talk about his recent battle with kidney cancer and how it put things in perspective for how he lives and coaches his team at Factory X. 

Montoya is a respected MMA coach who owns Factory X Muay Thai in Denver, CO that has seen a major surge in UFC athletes over the last 6 years.  He helped Anthony Smith become a contender at light heavyweight and has a stable of strong UFC fighters like Dustin Jacoby, Jonathan Martinez, Chris Gutierrez and more.

There are great lessons in this episode about how to think and act like a champion no matter what you are chasing in life!

Once a highly recruited football player, personal errors led to the end of his college football career.  Nicksick talks about how he blamed others instead of being accountable for his own actions.
 
A legal issue in his past led to him not being able to join the Las Vegas Fire Department, and he was left at a crossroads.  He needed to change his attitude and find a new path.
 
That's when he went from just training at Xtreme Couture to taking on a manager and then coaching role despite never having competed in MMA.
