“Investors have come to the conclusion – rightly or wrongly – that we’ve threaded the needle” on the economy, Bill Fitzpatrick argues, “and that help is on the way.” He cautions that significant risks remain, though, particularly with regards to inflation. He warns against a major consumer spending pullback that would weigh on the economy and thinks investors should focus on prudence.
