John 7:1-8. 1. You are not alone, Jesus understands. (V5). Even Jesus’ brothers didn’t believe in Him or The Will of God our Father. 2. Importance of time (timing) (vs. 6-8). How do I deal with life when things don’t work out the way you think they should? - Daily walk in prayer: submitting your life into God’s hands for timing. - Daily trust in God’s timing. - Be merciful & gracious with others. - Be a person who forgives.

John 6:22-71 - Jesus is the Bread of Life, bread from heaven, eternal bread, living bread. 1. What must we do, to be doing the work of God. 2. Demand of a sign. 3. Jesus (I am the bread of life). Importance of bread in the OT - Adam’s curse (Gen 3:19) - Gift of Melchizedek is bread & wine (Gen. 14:18) -bread at Passover (Ex. 12) -bread in the tabernacle (Ex. 25:30, Lev. 2) -Manna (Ex. 16:15, Num. 11:7-8, Joshua 5:11) -Manna kept in Ark of the Covenant (Ex. 16:33, Heb. 9:4). NT importance of bread. -Temptation of Christ (Matt. 4:4, Luke 4:4) -beware of the yeast of Pharisee, Sadducee, and Kings (Mark 8:14, Matt. 16:6) -Communion (1Cor. 11:22-28)

John 6:16-21. 1. We’ve got to stop worshipping idols (Exodus 6:14-25). 2. We’ve got to remove our total dependence from “experts” and place our faith in God. (Psalm 107:23-31). 3. Storms will come. Trouble will happen. Disappointment will occur. We have a comforter in Jesus, through the Holy Spirit (John 14). 4. We may get our life off course, because of the storm; or bad decisions; if we take Jesus in He will get us to our proper destination. (John 6:21)

John 6:1-15 Jesus feeds the 5,000. Jesus sees the need of the people. Jesus meets the needs of the people. Yet, He used His disciples to help provide the miracle of feeding the 5,000. 1. Jesus utilizes His disciples and me. 2. Jesus supplies. Question: Are you needing God to meet/supply a need in your life today? Are you a servant of God, helping to provide a miracle in someone’s life? Or are you needing help and providing for others at the same time? Know this...God loves you, your family, neighbors, and community. Trust him. Self-reliance is over-rated. Know the Jesus is with you today.

John 5:30-47. 1. Jesus says, ‘I can do nothing on my own.’ (Vs.30) Does His example open my eyes to see how important God is in my life? Does His example open my heart to see how important people are in my life? 2. ‘For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me.’ Do I use laws as a way to elevate myself over other people? Do I think I’m more supreme and powerful than others because of my work(s)? Do I suppress others because I secretly feel bad about myself. Jesus has revealed to us He is God - 100%. Jesus has been revealed as 100% man. Jesus’ teachings are good, but they are not the WAY of Salvation. Jesus is the WAY. Jesus is the path of Salvation. Jesus is our salvation.

Main text: John 5:17-24. 1. Equality (Isaiah 46:3-6). 2. Authority (Luke7:6-10). 3. Judge (Ps. 119:66; Phil. 1:9-11, Gal. 6:7). Declare: Jesus, You are equal w/God our Father/Creator. I trust You! Jesus, You hold ALL authority of Heaven, Earth, & my life. I give You complete authority over my life today. Jesus, You are the Rightful Ruler/Judge. Teach me to discern right from wrong, good from bad, corrupt from righteous. May I hold loosely of the power of judgement, which is reserved for You. Today may my faith grow. May my trust strengthen. May my hope be secure in Christ Jesus.

John 5:1-17 1. Get up - this is not self help. Getting up is assisted by God alone. (Romans 9:16). 2. Take up your bed - gathering your belongings...this must be accomplished in God’s timing, not ones own strength. This is not a faith issue, but a lifestyle of order/authority/obedience to our Master God. (Matthew 7:28). 3. Walk - move forward, do not stay in your sin, past problems, past hurts, past illness. Psalm 119:1 God is always working (John 5:17)

John 4:46-54

1. The Gift of God - Living Water. (Jeremiah 2:12-13; 17:13; Revelation 7:17) 2. He Know Me (Jeremiah 3:6-10). 3. He is Messiah. (Isaiah 53). Jesus Love You!!!!!

Notice: 1. Jesus was making & baptizing more disciples than John. 2. Jesus’ disciples baptise new disciples. 3. Jesus got tired. 4. Jesus spoke to a Samaritan woman. (1John 3:16-17)
