Many players in different organizations get their numbers retired for various reasons, goals, championships, points etc. But what about the players who protected them? Gave them room on the ice to make plays or came to their defense if liberties were taken. The often over looked importance of tough guys happens far to often especially in the year 2022 where the role of enforcer is pretty much a dodo bird now. This list was made to appreciate those franchise players who bled for the crest and their teammates. This is all just a personal opinion so take the list with a grain of salt if your favorite player isn't on here or I may have missed someone. We all make mistakes and we're only human.

Nico Blachman is back on the pod to talk about his first year pro in the ECHL. Leading the league in fights tied with Josh Thrower, Nico took on anyone and everyone. Fighting top heavyweights such as Howe, Neuber, Thrower, Marino and much more. We go over each fight along with the pre game scuffle with Howe, pointing to the Florida bench mid fight vs Russell Jordan, and coming off the bench to defend a teammate. Nico may not be the biggest guy in the league but that doesnt stop him from taking on anyone. Sit back and enjoy hearing about the tough guy role in the ECHL.

From playing vs Josh Gratton, fight training with Anthony Collins, and fighting NIco Blachman. Chris Ordoobadi is just getting his feet wet in the ECHL but looking to keep some tough hockey around in the process. After being a season ticket holder for the Florida Everblades this year along with following box scores and uploading fights from around the league all season. From playing in Huntsville with guys like Mike DeGurse and Luke Phillips. To fighting guys like Mat Goody and Robin Big Snake. Justin Schmit is a warrior and even came out of retirement to play for the Columbus River Dragons in the FPHL. Justin has already taken not only the hockey fight world by storm but the sports world as a whole. With toe to toe wars with guys like Joe Pace and Nick Williams. Justin has also competed in MMA along with Rodeo of all things! Justin is even a future competitor in the Ice Wars hockey fight tournament being put together by Danbury Trashers GM AJ Galante. Returning to the pod is head coach of the Junior Islanders, Jack Greig. Jack has told his career story before but now hear what it's like going from tough guy to head coach. Showing his players a few fighting pointers to coaching players who have made it to all levels. ECHL, AHL, and even the NHL! Best of luck to Jack and his future endeavors. Two of the biggest pests to ever play in the NHL are some how making headlines despite not playing hockey since the early 2000s! Sean Avery signed a contract with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL this morning but it doesn't end there. Matt Barnaby has come out to challenge Sean Avery! Stating he will sign with any team in the same division as Orlando to drop the gloves with Sean Avery. Will Barnaby get signed to give us an old timer slug fest? Or do teams let Barnaby be. Whether its good or bad for the league, well, I get into that too.
