A World War Two vet in Alabama named Major Wooten beat COVID-19 just in time to celebrate his 104th birthday last week. His granddaughter talked to the local news last week after his doctors and nurses sang "Happy Birthday" as he left the hospital in his wheelchair.

A group of young successful Black entrepreneurs went to a grocery store near Atlanta last week, and paid for everyone's groceries. They took over all 12 lanes for two hours, and spent around $40,000 on it.

Mississippi highway patrolman Bradley Sanders recently issued a traffic ticket to Niya Sumter. After the traffic stop, Sanders took Sumter and her toddler son to a store and bought her the correct child seat. Sumter posted: “Can I say how good God is? After giving me my tickets, he said, ‘Follow me. Let’s go buy your baby a car seat.”

Theo Rinehart, a cheeky 18-month-old boy, joined in family celebrations for brother Bodhi's third birthday at home.

A bar in Cleveland just had to shut down again because of the virus. And on the last day they were open, someone walked in, ordered a beer, and left a $3,000 tip for the whole staff to split. The owner actually thought it was a $300 tip at first.

Volunteers with a group called Backpacks for the Street have handed out over 10,000 backpacks to homeless people in New York since the pandemic hit. Each one has around 50 items in it, like antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, first aid kits, and food.

An Idaho line worker, George Simmons, was in Oklahoma helping restore power and ended up losing his pet raccoon during the trip. Local residents have been coming out by the dozens to help Simmons find his beloved pet.
