Adam Wasserman is a Flywheel Sports Lead & Master Instructor in New York City. We first met wayyy back in the late-90s at the University of Rhode Island where we attended the theatre program together as acting majors. Many moons went by and both of us took very different paths in our lives before we linked up again. But after years of pursuing our dreams, moving around the country, following the never-ending pull to grow, and becoming very different men than when we met, Adam and I fell right back into line as friends.
Adam and his dog Bella were kind enough to let me crash at their place for a few days when I was wrapping up a course in New York. I was super fortunate when he agreed to be a guest. We chatted about panic attacks, taking responsibilities for our actions, adoption, knowing when to ask for help, and of course he answered Five Questions. Meet Adam.

Victoria McDougal is a public relations coordinator at Style House (a PR firm that focuses on "its responsibility, as women, to market responsibly to women") who lives and works in New York City.
Our meeting was sort of an accident: I was originally scheduled to interview Victoria's boss at Style House, but our meeting was cancelled at the very last minute. It was totally due to legitimate factors, for the record. Victoria told me the news as I got out of the elevator and apologized profusely on behalf of her boss. Not to be deterred, I took Victoria up on the offer of free beer (the firm is located in one of those cool co-working spaces that has free beer) and as we got chatting, I knew she'd be a solid guest for 5Qs. Thankfully she obliged. Meet Victoria.

Mia Shaikewitz is a TV personality; public speaker; a founding member of Infinite Flow, America's first wheelchair ballroom dance company; survivor of a ruptured arteriovenous malformation (AVM) in her spinal cord; fine artist; and a graphic design, branding, and production specialist.
Mia and I met up at a lovely little park in West Los Angeles and had one of those long, inspiring conversations that makes you feel like you've known each other forever. As if your lives mirrored each other's in this weird "we must've known each other in a former life" kinda way. Once we got chatting, it was near impossible to stop. We covered her AVM and her subsequent paralysis, journaling through depression, curiosity, letting yourself feel your emotions, the Five Love Languages, running away when things get tough, and resilience in the face of darkness, insecurity, and fear. Meet Mia.
