Episode 56.) This week we had the privilege to speak with the (co)winner of Best in Show from Foxtoberfest 2023, Paul VahHalst.
Unfortunately, big diddy, John was unable to join us. He was doing something much more important and seeing his son off to be married. Congrats to the Brooks family and best wishes to Mason and Heather. 
In our conversation, Paul talks about how his passion for cars developed, how it matured over the years and how he ultimately arrived at building a Capri.   As many of us can relate, this was a COVID project and man did he do it right! Not only did Paul do it right, but he also built one heck of a Capri that proves you don’t need a Fox-Mustang to create something cool. In addition to building sick fox bodies, Paul is also a business owner and shares a little about how one can be successful and what it takes to build flourishing businesses. 
The Foxtoberfest ’23 Best in Show was significant because broke history in two ways; 1. It is the first time there was a tie and 2. For the first time, a non-Mustang Fox won. 
This was a great episode. Paul is a solid guy and a great conversationalist. I guarantee you will get something out of this episode.

This week, we had the honor of speaking to a Fox body legend, Rob Miller.

Rob requires no introduction, as he has created many legendary foxes; Sandy, Wicked Step Sister, 81 SVT Coupe, just to name a few.

Rob is an incredibly humble guy, and super knowledgeable on all things Fox related. He shared

a bit about his foxbody journey and how he developed his passion.

Episode 54.) This week, we had the distinct honor and privilege to have Brother Tom on, as our guest. After 2 minutes of talking with Tom, it is impossible to not see him as a potential best friend! What a great guy!

 In our conversation, Tom discusses growing up in a rough town and losing some close friends to gang violence. The conversation takes a more positive light when Tom discusses making viral videos and his joy of the Foxbody platform.

Episode 53.) This week, we had the privilege of speaking with one of the GOAT Foxbody Youtubers, GearHead704!

Matt requires no introduction; he is known far and wide! In this episode we discuss the usual topics we like to cover on the Asylum, we also delve into Matt’s hiatus from Youtube, what brought him back and his future goals! 

Also, exclusive to our audience, Matt drops a reveal bomb, that I know we were personally ecstatic to hear, and frankly… still in a bit of disbelief.

Episode 52.) This week, we had the pleasure of talking with Andrew Mungo. 

You may recognize his car by the unique shade of Area 51 blue paint. Andrew is rattle-canning his car, in his driveway. A 100% DIY’r, he is building this car to be driven and reliable. His goals for this build are both aggressive and achievable.

We talk about how Andrew came to become a fan of Foxbodies and what drove him to pursue this direction for his build. Andrew has plans to launch a really cool business (for us car guys) next year.
I think you are really going to like this one. Andrew is a great guy!

Episode 49.) This week, we spent some time with the world-famous Tom Clark, better known throughout the community as @sinisbuilt.   
A lot of ground was covered; everything from getting the confidence to try and do something, when you don’t have the money to pay someone, to #foxbodypeople. We even included self-checkouts…

Episode 48.) This week, we enjoyed speaking with Nicole, known as @lilwhitefoxbody on Instagram, and her family.  

Nicole and her husband, Jonathan, are both Foxbody fanatics and heavily involved in the Detroit Foxbodys group.

Nicole explains how she fell in love with the Foxbody platform and the circumstances surrounding how her car came to be. You will hear a familiar story of how this car brought her out of a deep sense of loss (her mother passed) and how it helped facilitate her FLAWLESS build! 

Don’t tell Jonathan, but I think his wife’s GT is cooler than his.
