FiveOne Volleyball

A great set of questions today in this mailbag. Part of this was recorded with the pro recap but I decided that it deserved its own episode. Topics covered include the volleyball teams with the best chemistry, NCAA finals predictions, and how much middle blockers deserve to get paid. This format of this episode is a mailbag, where I ask questions posed to me by fans on my instagram page @fiveonevb and answer them right here on the podcast. The Plusliga semifinals did not disappoint, with Warsaw and Zaksa advancing in epic fashion. Piotr Lukasik and Sam Deroo proved that you can be a primary option on the left side. On this podcast, I discuss these results as well as Modena's upset win over Perugia and transfers that took place this week. The FiveOne Volleyball podcast is the best place on the internet to keep up to date with volleyball news and storylines. In one of the craziest sets of volleyball I have ever witnessed, Perugia comes back from down 10-19 to win a crucial 3rd set against Modena in the Italian League semifinals. I look into how the heck that happened, as well as discuss another 5-setter between Trentino and Lube Civitanova and other results from around the world of pro volleyball. The FiveOne Volleyball podcast is the best place on the internet to keep up to date with volleyball news and storylines. The semifinals in both the Polish & Italian volleyball leagues have started, and they started off with a bang. Blistering 5-setters took place between Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle and Zawricie in Poland, and Lube Civitanova and Trentino in Italy. And Atanasijevic's absence was not felt as much as we expected. Also, a couple of transfers to go over, including a confirmed Tsvetan Sokolov to Kazan, and a rumoured Ivan Zaytsev to Italy. The FiveOne Volleyball podcast is the best place on the internet to keep up to date with volleyball news and storylines. There was a lot of volleyball played this past weekend, with most of the professional leagues around the world well into their playoffs. The Italian league quarterfinals have finished, with a controversial brawl between Perugia and Monza. The Plusliga semifinals have started with a couple of huge upsets. And our finals matchup in Brazil is set. The FiveOne Volleyball podcast is the best place on the internet to keep up to date with volleyball news and storylines. The semifinals of the volleyball champions league are behind us, and while it may not have been the battle we thought it would be, there is certainly still lots to talk about. In this podcast, I discuss the semifinals matches between Perugia/Kazan and Lube/Skra. I also look ahead to the superfinals taking place in Berlin between Lube and Kazan, by looking back at the last two epic matches in which these two played each other. There was also an incredible 39 point performance by Paola Egonu, who will represent Novara against her future team Imoco on the Women's champions league superfinals. The FiveOne Volleyball podcast is the best place on the internet to keep up to date with volleyball news and storylines. My thoughts on surprisingly entertaining quarterfinal round of Champions League volleyball, where for a brief moment in time Trefl Gdansk looked like the best team volleyball has ever seen. Also predictions on the quarterfinals matchups between Kazan-Perugia and Skra-Lube. I go over the best players of the Polish Plusliga, and reminisce on what was one of the weirder seasons in the league's history.
