Part 2 of my set at Flagging In The Desert, benefitting the Palm Springs AIDS Memorial!

(Palm Springs, California - March 1st, 2025)

If you haven't been, it is an amazing event - the mountains, the sun, and of course the flaggers, which were so appreciative and supportive!!

Of note in Part 2 is an almost-mashup I made of the My Marianne version of "Husavik", and the [Avicii/Leona Lewis] track "Collide". Previously I've given My Marianne and Leona Lewis a brief duet, with happy results (they are both Cahill remixes in the same key).

But just for Flagging In The Desert, I decided to make something special - I've given them four duets - two foreshadowing the upcoming "Collide", one for the transition, and one last, lingering echo of "My Hometown..." at the end of "Collide". Now I just need to get them to do it live! :-)
