But the truth is, God uses people that are many times reluctant to speak God's word, even if the words are good. Jonah is a prophet in the Old Testament that is reluctant to serve the mission of God, even though the mission is GOOD and brings SALVATION

// Looking out into our world from a Christian perspective can be difficult at times. As Christ followers dedicated to living and loving like Jesus Christ, it should break our hearts to see injustice or poverty or violence or abuse. But many times it seems like we have grown callous to these topics. When we see these things out in the world it is easy to "forget" that God's plan for this world is MORE than they are.

// In this episode of Unscripted, Marshall and Brandon talk about how humans can become desensitized to injustice, poverty and violence, why it's important for Christians to step out into those conversations, and how we can teach ourselves to "feel" the world just like our God does. We hope this conversation is a blessing!

// As a church, our heart breaks to see injustice in this world. Our hearts break to watch the news, to hear the voices of the oppressed, to join our friends, brothers, and family as we cry over the loss of life and the miscariage of justice. As a nation, emotions are high. As Christians we are called to speak out against oppression, to stand up for those that can't stand for themselves, and bring a voice to those that aren't heard.

// In tonight's episode of Unscripted, Marshall and Brandon speak about the issues plaguing our nation at the moment, what scripture says about created worth and justice, and why Chistians can be a force of change and justice in this world that desperately needs the love of Jesus.
