We all have a collection of experiences and choices and consequences that weave together to shape our personal life stories. Those stories not only define us as individuals but also serve as a testimony to others about the things in our lives that have helped shape who we are. Over the next few weeks we are going to hear personal stories from some of our church family - stories that include doubting God, not liking His church, making mistakes, and overcoming obstacles. Join us each week as we discover together that we each have a story, that none of our stories are "perfect," and that there is grace and acceptance and hope to be found no matter what our story might be.

In Luke 12, Jesus seems to indicate that everything we might try to keep hidden about ourselves or about our past choices will be brought out into the open and exposed to everyone. Join us this Sunday at Flagstone, and we'll talk about what Jesus meant and why we shouldn't worry.

We live in a culture that values success and champions wealth.  The more money we have and the more stuff we can get, the better.  But there is a time in scripture where Jesus seems to say that richer a person is, the greater the impossibility of him/her getting into heaven.  Is that what He really said?  And if so, is that what He really meant?

Jesus once said that being His disciple involves more than just calling myself a "Christian" - I also have to have actions that demonstrate I'm trying to live like Him. But right after that Jesus also says that He may claim He doesn't even know who I am, even though I'm doing good things.
