🚗 Motor Vehicle & Personal Injury Legislation Discussed:
• SB 926 – Attorney fees and costs in PIP medical benefit disputes
• SB 522 / HB 769 – Potential repeal of Florida’s No-Fault (PIP) system and transition to a tort-based system
– Elimination of PIP beginning January 1, 2027
– Mandatory bodily injury liability coverage
– Required offering of MedPay coverage
• SB 1152 – Hands-free only driving (ban on holding phones while driving)
• HB 243 / SB 382 – E-bike and electric motorcycle regulations, licensing, safety education, crash reporting, and penalties
