In this teaching the focus is on how Jesus taught and prepared his disciples to live and minister under the direction, influence, and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. With passion,  he promises them that though he would be physically leaving them and they would see him in the flesh no more, yet he was no abandoning them. For just as the Father was in Christ, so now through the Holy Spirit, Christ would be living in us. And the kingdom of heaven is experienced by those who love him, hold fast to his word and receive his present reign within their lives through the work of the Holy Spirit. 

To us a human child was born. To us the Son of God was given. God himself had come in the flesh, Immanuel. God himself had come to live as a man among men. God himself entered the earth realm in the form of man in order to do what no man could do, to redeem humanity from the power of sin and death and subservience to a deceiver and to reclaim the dominion that humanity had forfeited through their rebellion.

The kingdom of heaven is a reality completely immersed in, influenced and empowered by the Holy Spirit. The anointing that Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, walked in was the result of his complete dependence and submission to the Holy Spirit.
