This was one of those conversations that went everywhere in the best possible way. Mr. E — aka Justin from Cryptids of the Corn — brought the perfect mix of field biology, cryptid research, sea monster lore, Bigfoot theory, and straight-up strange animal intelligence. We got into everything from allegedly extinct species that may still be out there, to mammoths, thylacines, Stellar’s sea cows, Ohio horned serpents, eDNA, Bigfoot evidence, whale language, and why the natural world is still way stranger than most people want to admit. Justin has the rare ability to talk about cryptids with both imagination and actual biological experience, which makes the conversation feel grounded without losing the wonder.
