One of the horror movies that I smile and get giddy for is 2001's Jeepers Creepers. What gets me is that very first scene. Two characters in a car, brother and sister, they got stuff going on, and then BOOM! this crazy truck rolls up and starts smashing them. Crazy! I love this first scene. So much in fact, that I'm going to copy it and write a story around it.
This is #flash fiction. A show about writing in real time. I’m your host, Eric M Hunter and I’ve been writing stories since I was a child. There’s a million ways to start a story and you never know how it’s going to turn out. It could be good or it could be really bad. So let’s see what happens.

Urban legends seem to have tapered off quite a bit in recent memory. Maybe it was more of a school days thing where now, as an adult, I have to find my weird and interesting in podcast. (yes, more podcast talk) And one in particular is the legend of the floating door.
It's just a door that appeared in the sky one day. Too high up to reach without help and then suddenly disappears. What could this door mean? Where could it lead? Who would come out of such a door? Sounds like an interesting story don't you think?

EVERYONE, LISTEN UP! I have received a warranty that was conveniently in my mailbox upon gather the day's mail. It's extremely important that I read this to you now, so please, whatever you're doing, STOP! DROP! AND WRITE.
That's right, it's just another dumb internet thing that I came across that sparked a bit of creativity in the brain areas. But this time, we do something that I've never done (that I can recall) and that's write in the second person POV.

Snake Oil? MLMs? If there's bullshit people will buy, then there's bullshit to sell. And it is everywhere. Take, for example, orgone. A concept variously described as an esoteric energy or hypothetical universal life force. WHAT?! Yeah, it's amazing how absolutely dumb this thing is. It's literally just a box that you sit in and close the door. That's it. Just wood and metal. So dumb. But! What if it actually did something... weird?

DID YOU KNOW? (Yes, I did that joke again) that nature is freaking crazy/awesome?! There's a thing called the "assassin bug" here's the link (you've got to read it https://www.bobvila.com/articles/assassin-bugs/ It reminded me of what I was calling "the Bag Man" from Bloodborne. He's actually called the "Kidnapper" https://bloodborne.fandom.com/wiki/Kidnapper. That's right! It's folklore horror, my favorite type of horror.
