A space marine gets marooned on a distant planet after a catastrophic spacecraft explosion and discovers a weapon based on ancient alien technology that has the ability to decimate planets. Together with his new A.I. buddy, this physically enhanced "super soldier" races against an army of space zealots to secure control of the superweapon. No, we already *did* Halo. This is Titanfall, and it's totally different because it leads in to the real "combat evolved"...the Mad Max-esque bloodsport that is Apex Legends! Soldiers, murderers, mercenaries, thieves, and friendly robots alike emerge from across the universe to compete in a 30th-century gladiator-like arena, full of guns, explosions, and--most importantly--a whole lot of cooldowns.
