Flawedcast - CLE

In this episode, which is part 1 of 2 in our series briefly covering the Bill of Rights, we will be discussing the First and Second Amendments. They are arguably the most important of all the amendments, as we hope you will learn along side oof us. Freedom isn't free, and what we will be highlighting over the course of the next two episode will hopefully unpack that a bit more. It is vitally important we know our rights, and what is set in place t o protect us from a tyrannical government.  Knowledge is power!

In this episode, we take inspiration from Thomas Paine's The Crisis, in a portion entitled "These Are The Times That Try Men's Souls. We will be discussing the essense and value of Freedom,  the difficulties of navigating life, the Hong Kong Protests, The American Crisis, and the fact that "Tyranny, like Hell, is not so easily conquered."

In this episode, we will be discussing the power of being aboe to discover and dedicate yourself to the "One Thing" in your life that brings you purpose. Borrowing inspiration from the movie City Slickers, we will discuss why it is so important to life a life of singularity, and how doing so will bring everything else into focus.

In this episode we will be discussing President Abraham Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address" along side Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" Speech. There are many parallels to what both f these brave men had to say then, as well as now. Highlighting topics that divide, rather than unite, we attempt to simply ask the hard questions that many today are, yet are not vocalizing.

This is the  inaugrual episode of Flawedcast. On our first out we will be discussing the famous speech from President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt called, "TheMan In The Arena."
