The word of God is spiritual in nature. This is true of both the old and new testaments. 

DENYING SELF EXALTATION

Jesus calls for his disciples to deny themselves, take their cross and follow him. He also tells us if we love our life we will lose it but if we lose our life for his sake we will gain eternal life.

This is a straight forward call to self denial but unfortunately their is another call of self exaltation that has permeated throughout the body of Christ.

When we look closely at the scriptures we see that the Word of God condemns the lifting up of ones own heart, for this is pride and an abomination in the sight of God Almighty. The true origin of the exaltation of the self- The ‘I Will’ originated from Lucifer when he lifted up his heart in pride against The Will of God. Isaiah 14:12 explains this clearly.

We are not to follow in the ways of the enemy of God. I pray that this Bible study enlightens the spiritual eyes of those who humbly submit themselves to the Will of God in Heaven, in Jesus Name.----more----

OPEN YOUR SPIRITUAL EYES

We are living in very dark times according to The Bible. Jesus gives us warnings about the terrible times that await us. In order to be prepared, believers must have their spiritual eyes and ears opened.
