  • The Home Opener, Stadium Renovations, John Schneider's beef with Cal Raleigh, and more!

The Toronto Blue Jays picked up their first series win of the season this week, taking two of three games from the Seattle Mariners.

We talked about the Home Opener in Toronto, the response to the second round of renovations made to the Rogers Centre, and fans booing manager John Schneider during the introduction ceremony. We also dove into the response that Mariners slugger Cal Raleigh had to comments Schneider made about him last April.

Finally, we looked ahead to this weekend's series against the Colorado Rockies, a team heading into Toronto with a 3-10 record on the season.

  • Blue Jays lay another stinker in the Bronx

The Blue Jays bumpy visit to the Bronx did not go to plan.

A big series opening win followed by a close comeback plan foiled by a way-too-large deficit parlayed itself into another disappointing series ending and series losing loss against the Yanks in New York. But what comes next for the Jays as they finally head home for their first series in the newly renovated Rogers Centre.

Zach Laing joins the show as Coomzy is on his way back from New York City as he helps Tyler breakdown this up-and-down series for Toronto and what the plan may be for some struggling pitchers like Alek Manoah and Bowden Francis. Plus, what's the plan with Yariel Rodriguez? All that and much more on this episode of Blue Jays Nation Radio!

  • Jays get embarrassed in Houston

The Blue Jays bumpy start to the season continues as the Astros embarrass the Jays in Houston.

The Jays get no-hit and one-hit in the series as they become the first team in MLB history to accomplish the sad feat to start an MLB season. But, it wasn't all bad as Davis Schneider comes in clutch in game two. How did it all go so wrong for Toronto?

Andrew Stoeten joins the show as Coomzy is off to New York to catch the Jays in action in the Bronx. Stoeten breaks down what went wrong, what went well, and what comes next for the Blue Jays on this episode of Blue Jays Nation Radio!

  • Talking Opening Day (and more!) with Devon Travis

We're back! With real games to talk about!

The Toronto Blue Jays opened their season with a four-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field and managed a split. The two wins showed just how good this team can be if they're clicking, while the two losses were eerily similar to many frustrating ones we saw last season.

We welcomed former Blue Jays Devon Travis to the show to talk about his Opening Day experience with the team back in 2015 and why he believes that this season's version of the team can be a winner. He also talked about why Justin Turner is such an important addition to the Blue Jays and his experience seeing Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette in Spring Training for the first time.

  • The 2024 Season Preview with Ethan Diamandas and Mitch Bannon

After a long, strange winter, we're finally back.

The Toronto Blue Jays will head from Dunedin to Tampa to begin the 2024 season with a four-game series against the Rays.

Ahead of Opening Day on Thursday, we welcomed Ethan Diamandas and Mitch Bannon to the show to preview the season. We talked about who stood out in Spring Training, which pitchers need to step up while other key arms start off on the Injured List, who some interesting trade targets could be for the Blue Jays later in the season, and a whole bunch more!

  • Andrew Stoeten joins the show to talk Spring Training, Santiago Espinal, Shohei Ohtani, and more!

We're nearing the finish line. The Blue Jays will play a few more Grapefruit League games and then they'll open the 2024 season against the Rays in Tampa next Thursday.

We welcomed Andrew Stoeten of The Bat Flip and Blue Jays Happy Hour to the show to talk about the off-season and the notable things that have happened during Spring Training, including the Santiago Espinal trade, injuries to the team's pitching staff, and how many long-term plans could be dictated by what happens this season.

  • Joey Votto's homecoming, injuries to starting pitchers, and more!

We're just over two weeks away from Opening Day and there are a few question marks surrounding the Toronto Blue Jays.

With Kevin Gausman, Alek Manoah, and Yariel Rodriguez all dealing with injuries during training camp, we took a look at the team's pitching situation heading into the regular season. We also talked about the addition of Joey Votto on a minor-league contract and what the future Hall of Famer will bring to Toronto. Finally, we took a look around the American League East as both the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox are dealing with injuries to key players.

  • Matt Chapman is no longer a Blue Jay

Matt Chapman has a new home. Well, sort of. He's back on the West Coast.

Late on Friday night, word came out that Chapman and the San Francisco Giants had agreed on a three-year $54 million deal. Like the one that Cody Bellinger signed with the Chicago Cubs last week, Chapman's contract will feature opt-outs after each season.

We talked about Chapman joining the Giants, why it's surprising the Blue Jays didn't get him signed, and who needs to step up in his absence. We also talked about some other notes from around Grapefruit League play, including Bowden Francis' strong start and Daniel Vogelbach's home run off of Gerrit Cole.

  • What Cody Bellinger's deal means for Matt Chapman, Alek Manoah's spring debut, and more

Spring Training is underway and we've finally got some actual baseball games to talk about!

But before that, we took a look at the three-year, $80 million contract that Cody Bellinger signed with the Chicago Cubs and wondered whether Matt Chapman and the Toronto Blue Jays could come to terms on something similar.

After that, we welcomed Adam from Blue Jays Today to the show for a game of too high or too low. Will the Blue Jays win more than 86.5 games? Will Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit more than 33.5 home runs? Will Bo Bichette lead Major League Baseball in hits?

  • Spring Training is underway, big-name free agents still remain, and more!

Baseballs are being thrown around and everyone is in the best shape of their lives — It's officially spring!

We talked about how big-name free agents Matt Chapman, Cody Bellinger, Jordan Montgomery, and Blake Snell are still available despite Grapefruit and Cactus League games getting started. After that, we looked at comments from Bo Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Alek Manoah, John Schneider, and Ross Atkins about the Blue Jays heading into the 2024 season.

The vibes are certainly different in Dunedin this year than previously with this group. Will this be the year they finally make good on their potential?
