Flip and Mozi

In this Postcard from Earth, Mozi sends a letter home about one of the strangest Earth rituals he has encountered yet. While observing a group of young humans on a grassy field, Mozi becomes convinced that a mysterious black-and-white sphere is the victim of a planet-wide misunderstanding. Why is everyone kicking it? Why does only one human seem willing to pick it up? And why does everyone cheer when it ends up in a giant net?

This hilarious alien correspondence is packed with laugh-out-loud observations and the wonderfully upside-down perspective that only Flip and Mozi can bring. As they try to make sense of a youth soccer game, our curious extraterrestrials uncover a classic case of Earth culture being much stranger than it first appears!

Along the way, Flip and Mozi learn how easy it is to misunderstand something when you're seeing it for the very first time. From goalkeepers and sidelines to juice-box breaks and team uniforms, every part of the game becomes a source of confusion, comedy, and curiosity. It's the kind of earthling encounter that makes you look at familiar things in a completely new way!

Flip & Mozi is the hit podcast from Tinkercast, the creators of Wow in the World, featuring original music from Grammy-nominated artists The Pop Ups. Each episode, aliens Flip and Mozi crash-land into a new animal encounter as they try to figure out what it means to be an earthling. From mammals to insects to sea creatures to reptiles, every curious creature they meet teaches them, and their listeners, something new about Earth and the important role animals play in our ecosystem. It's a nature and animal podcast for kids that keeps animal conservation in your family’s conversations.
