STEVIE WONDER’S 70TH BIRTHDAY.

Stevland Morris is the most important artist of all time.

An innovator and a visionary. Words cannot express what his music means to me personally so I decided to let the music do the talking.

In honour of his birthday, in addition to all of the tributes happening worldwide, I’m sharing a short mix of my some of my most cherished and RARE records in my entire collection. They also happen to be Stevie Wonder songs, including the song dearest to me, and I know too many others, AS. I’ve tried to get every single AS cover on 45. So here’s a chill mix of Stevie Wrote It songs.

Featuring Janet Jackson and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis "Flyte Tyme" Productions.

My exclusive mix for LL Cool J's ROCK THE BELLS RADIO on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio from Labour Day Long Weekend 2019.

Big shout out to LL Cool J and a huge shout to my brother Z-Trip!!

Edit pack for DJs available on my Bandcamp: https://flipoutmusic.bandcamp.com/album/rock-the-bells-dj-edit-pack

Originally aired on the homie Oonops Drops "Hip Hop Special 3" on Brooklyn Radio.

This is a mix, entirely of original pressings of late 80s/early 90s rap records... but the lesser known "b-sides"!

A really fun listen especially if you're not familiar with the songs but you're from that era.

Featuring joints like:

Young MC - Fastest Rhyme

Def Jef - God Made Me Funky

The Junkyard Band - Sardines

3rd Bass - Derelicts Of Dialect

Ed O.G. and the Bulldogs - Kid From The Ghetto

Ice Cube - 2 N The Morning

Too Short - What Rap?

DJ Quik - Jus Lyke Compton

Naughty By Nature - The Hood Comes First

A Tribe Called Quest - Skypager
