I thought this movie was going to be Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again…Off a Cliff. But to my relief, this sequel to the 2008 movie musical is not a complete train wreck.

When a young black man gets a job as a telemarketer in current-day Oakland, he soon realizes he can make more people listen to him and make more sales when he uses his artificial “white” voice. Once our protagonist cracks this code, he becomes much more successful and moves up the ladder from tiny cubicles and tinier paychecks to secret passcodes and an exclusive elevator to the higher floor.

Ant Man and the Wasp is a PG-13 sequel to the original, or initial, film Ant Man from 2015. This sequel is directed by Peyton Reed who also directed the initial 2015 film. We’re treated to another superhero movie that’s part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which is continually expanding with more stories and more movies.
