In this second episode of Floating Through Film, we introduce our series on the French New Wave (0:22). This was Luke's pick, and he starts off by telling us why he picked the French New Wave for our first series, before we all give our thoughts on what we think of this movement in film. In this inaugural episode of Floating Through Film, we thought we'd try to introduce ourselves through a few different questions relating to movies that will hopefully allow you to see our individual tastes and interests as we answer them. We start the episode (1:40) by answering a 2 part question: 1. What was the movie that opened the door of film for you? and 2. More importantly, what was the movie that got you to enter the room? After this discussion, we then move to the main segment of the episode (13:35), using The Oscars awards categories to talk about some of our all-time favorite movies.
