🇧🇷🇵🇹 No quintal de uma casa em ambiente rural, Flokinho, o gatinho cinza e branco com cerca de seis meses, esforça-se para tentar escalar um poste de varal de cerca de 2 metros de altura sobre o qual está um esquilo/caxinguelê/quatipuru. Sem conseguir chegar até o alvo, ele vem até quem opera a câmera, talvez pedindo ajuda para alcançar o roedor. Este, porém, aproveita a oportunidade para fugir. Isso tudo enquanto Meme, o gato adulto preto e branco, apenas descansa sobre uma cadeira ao lado sem ter visto a caça, felizmente, já que ele costuma conseguir trepar naquele poste. É uma manhã de verão com céu azul no sul do Brasil.

🇨🇦🇬🇧 In the backyard of a rural home, Flokinho, a gray-and-white kitten about six months old, is doing his best to scale a clothesline pole about two metres tall (just over 6½ ft). Perched at the top is a squirrel. Despite his efforts, Flokinho cannot quite reach his target, so he scampers over to the person holding the camera, perhaps hoping for a little help in catching the critter. But the prey seizes the moment and makes a quick getaway. Meanwhile, Meme, the adult black-and-white cat, lounges lazily on a nearby chair, blissfully unaware of the whole situation — which is probably for the best, since Meme has no trouble climbing that pole when he sets his mind to it. It is a summer morning with a bright blue sky in southern Brazil.
