Siamo tornati! La quarta stagione di Floppy Disk è ufficialmente partita!
Dopo alcune settimane di meritato riposo ricominciamo facendo quello che amiamo di più: leggere vecchie riviste di videogiochi. Ecco infatti che, come ogni mese, abbiamo letto le news di 20 anni fa e per l'occasione abbiamo sfogliato Nintendo la Rivista Ufficiale numero 30 di settembre 2004 edita da Future Games (00:34:24).
Con questa stagione abbiamo davvero esordito con il botto. Il 22 settembre 1994 esordiva infatti sulle TV statunitensi quella che è una delle serie più importanti di sempre; stiamo parlando di Friends che compie infatti 30 anni! Il nostro Scanna ha quindi pronta per voi una interessante disamina della serie, dei suoi protagonisti e degli aneddoti più curiosi (01:06:00).
Passiamo poi ad un grande ritorno. Il nostro Mirko infatti è davvero in hype per l'annunciato ritorno degli Oasis. Il Mazzatosta nazionale si è quindi preparato un'analisi della storia e dei principali album del gruppo dei fratelli Gallagher (01:56:29).

La quarta stagione di Floppy Disk è ormai imminente e per accompagnare questo ritorno abbiamo deciso di proporvi un nuovo Inserto Speciale. Questa volta il nostro Marco Valle vi racconterà di una delle sue saghe preferite, della quale tre capitoli sono stati ripresi da Konami e riproposti nella Castlevania: Dominus Collection.

È infatti venuto il turno di Doom + Doom II anch'esso recensito da Matteo su gamesource.it.
Doom + Doom II è un'edizione davvero molto ghiotta che propone ben più dei due giochi che danno il nome alla raccolta. Se siete amanti dei boomer shooter, non possiamo fare altro che consigliarvelo.

Torniamo con un inserto speciale proprio nel bel mezzo della nostra pausa estiva!
Se Floppy Disk durante il mese più caldo dell'anno si ferma, lo stesso non si può dire delle riedizioni di vecchi videogiochi, ed eccoci qui dunque per parlarvi di Tombi! Special Edition.
Uno dei titoli cult della prima PlayStation è infatti tornato in questa nuova edizione che il nostro Matte ha anche recensito per gamesource.it.

Un'altra stagione se ne va. Con questo quarantatreesimo episodio, si chiude ufficialmente la terza stagione di Floppy Disk.
Non è ancora il momento di riposare però. In queste due ore di episodio vi offriamo infatti la solita dose settimanale di nostalgia.
Partiamo con le news di vent'anni fa. Andiamo quindi a sfogliare e commentare Nintendo La Rivista Ufficiale numero 29 di agosto 2004 edita da Future Games per ricordare cosa ci attendeva in quella torrida estate (00:11:20).
Dopo aver festeggiato i trent'anni di The Mask appena un paio di episodi fa, Jim Carrey torna protagonista del nostro podcast. Siamo infatti pronti a festeggiare l'uscita italiana di Ace Ventura L'Acchiappanimali: titolo che ha dato notorietà internazionale all'attore canadese (00:48:55).
Concludiamo la puntata e questa stagione con un altro festeggiamento e questa volta di uno di videogiochi più rappresentativi, amati e meglio caratterizzati dell'intero softeca di PlayStation 1: stiamo parlando di Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver. Oltre alla solita chiacchiera celebrativa, abbiamo letto la recensione da PSM numero 19 di ottobre 1999 edito da PlayPress Publishing (01:27:27).

Penultima puntata della terza stagione bella densa di argomenti.
Iniziamo con l'ultimo Retro Radar della stagione nel quale il nostro Scanna ci racconta di quali vecchi videogiochi sono tornati su piattaforme e sistemi di gioco odierni: imperdibile per chi volesse colmare delle lacune nel passato del medium (00:06:15).
Ispirati da una news di Nintendo Rivista Ufficiale di luglio 2004, edita da Future Games, abbiamo fatto un blocco relativo a Star Catalogo: un portale di inizio anni 2000 nel quale i veri nintendari potevano iscriversi e spendere delle "stelline" guadagnate grazie all'acquisto di console e videogiochi Nintendo, facendo così incetta di merchandising ufficiale Nintendo. I nostri Nintendo-boys Luis e Scanna ci hanno raccontato dei loro pomeriggi passati a refreshare selvaggiamente lo store della grande N ogni volta in cui venivano aggiunti nuovi gadget (00:22:00).
Passiamo ai compleanni. In prima battuta parliamo dei venticinque anni di American Pie: film cult di fine anni 90 che è entrato nel cuore di una generazione di ragazzi (00:52:30).
Tornando ai video games non si può non festeggiare i venticinque anni di un classico dell'epoca d'oro degli RTS: Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. Per l'occasione abbiamo letto la recensione da Giochi Per Il Mio Computer di ottobre 1999 edito da Il Mio Castello (01:31:25).

Era da troppo tempo assente sulle nostre frequenze, era troppo tempo che il nostro Scanna non ci proponeva un Accadde Oggi, Giocammo Oggi.
In questo episodio andiamo ad analizzare tutto ciò che la cultura pop ha da offrirci durante l'anno che ha visto i natali del Mazzatosta: il 1997.

Siamo ormai a fine stagione, ma continuiamo ad offrirvi puntate piene di succosi contenuti.
In particolare in questa puntata siamo andati a sfogliare Nintendo La Rivista Ufficiale numero 28 di luglio 2004 edito da Future Games per leggere e commentare insieme le news che la grande N aveva in serbo per tutti i possessori di Game Cube e GameBoy Advance (00:10:35).
Siamo poi partiti i festeggiamenti dei compleanni ed abbiamo iniziato con The Mask che vedeva i propri esordi il 29 luglio 1994 (00:45:00).
Da uno dei personaggi più amati di Jim Carrey siamo poi passati ad uno dei video games più apprezzati di PlayStation One. Stiamo parlando di Dino Crisis che festeggia venticinque anni. Per l'occasione abbiamo letto la recensione da PSM numero 20 di novembre 1999 edito da PlayPress Publishing (01:27:00).

In questa puntata è venuto a farci compagnia il content creator nonchè nostro collega di redazione Federico De Santis aka Frankie, la cui esperienza su Nintendo è stata utilissima per festeggiare il ventesimo anniversario dell'uscita di Paper Mario: Il Portale Millenario su Game Cube. Passando alla necessaria bibliografia, qui potete trovare la recensione di Frankie del nuovo Paper Mario: Il Portale Millenario. La recensione letta durante l'episodio è invece tratta da Nintendo La Rivista Ufficiale numero 33 di dicembre 2004, edito da Future Games (00:14:00).
Passiamo invece ad un nuovo episodio di "Ma questo l'ho giocato solo io?". È Mirko questa volta a prendere la parola e a parlarci di Pac-Man World: gioco particolarmente caro al Mazzatosta nazionale che uscì nel 1999 per la prima PlayStation e Game Boy Advance (01:02:00).
Come ben sapete tuttavia non amiamo solo i videogiochi, ma ci piace anche ricordare i giocattoli che hanno animato i nostri pomeriggi da bambini spensierati. Se i nomi Gastone Bubbone, John Stravolt e Dante Mutante non vi sono nuovi, allora anche voi avrete giocato con gli Sgorbions e chi meglio del nostro Marco per parlarvi di questa serie di giocattoli grotteschi e talvolta ripugnanti? Per festeggiare l'E3, cosa c'è di meglio se non parlare con chi ha partecipato a ben ventiquattro edizioni?
Abbiamo avuto il piacere di ospitare Stefano Silvestri con il quale abbiamo chiacchierato sulla ormai ex fiera più importante del mondo dei videogiochi.
Stefano ci ha raccontato di press tour sontuosi, aneddoti folli e serate di tornei di video games in redazione, oltre al suo rapporto con l'E3 attraverso decenni diversi, riviste diverse e media diversi: da The Games Machine ad Eurogamer.it.
