The two projects released in quick succession transformed Charli’s career and the pop landscape too.  We're discussing both mixtapes at length as well as playing a game of Pornhub comment or Charli XCX fan review.

For our first episode, we’re zooming in on the ultimate Flopstar - Queen of swords Carly Rae Jepsen and her 2015 record EMOTION. The album tanked on the charts but it was a monumental moment in Jeppo’s career It took her from a one-hit-wonder to an adored pop cult leader. Pop changed because of ‘EMOTION’ even though some normies will ask you what happened to the ‘Call Me Maybe’ girl.
