He got his BS and MS in Soil Science in India and a Ph.D. degree in Soil and Water Science from the University of Florida. Their research is focused around repetitive DNA biology, microscopy, and genomic technology development. They play a big role in justice-centered learning spaces in STEM for minoritized and marginalized students.
