Zachary Bernhardt vanished without a trace in the early morning hours of September 11, 2000. Exactly one year before our nation experienced one of the most tragic terrorist attacks on our country ever. Zach was just eight years old and living with his mother Leah Hackett in an apartment complex in Clearwater, Florida. His mom worked nights so she was used to staying up all night and decided to take a walk to burn some energy. During this short time she was away, Zach went missing and has never been seen since. Very little clues and no suspect has ever been named in Zachary Bernhardt’s disappearance.
