“My Grandfather was an interesting man, a prominent businessman in Perth in the 60’s and 70’s,” explains the singer-songwriter. “He started life as a butcher, opened the first ever supermarket in WA and went on to open a Spanish dancing horse theme park, El Caballo Blanco, in 1974.”

“The track reflects the push and pull of wanting to move on but continuing to slip into bad habits, because let’s face it, we all feel like the world is about to end after a breakup. I really wanted this to be visualized in the song, so I used relatable examples of bad patterns we tend to fall into after a bad breakup throughout the track to keep the song kind of light and a little humorous.”
