I’m sending you all so much love, virtual hugs and a big ole fluffy floral bouquet for each and every one of you. Today’s discussion may be triggering for some, it may resonate or it may not, and that is perfectly perfect. My intention is simply to plant a seed of contemplation for you. I simply encourage an open heart and an open mind to hear the message and see if it resonates with you or not. Something that has risen into my awareness recently to contemplate has been energetic intentionality. Since 2015, I, like many others out there, found myself on the whirlwind ride of anger. I attached myself to hate of anyone who believed differently than my ‘political’ beliefs, while simultaneously aligning with the belief that I was ‘against hate.’ It was quite a contradiction that I was not able to see until I received an intuitive message to detach from everything. I had aligned myself so completely to a political party that I had blindly handed away my discernment and personal power. Instead, this year I realized that no political party can substitute for our own innate ability to embody our own energetic truths and live those truths in every minute and every now moment that we stand in.

My true soul self wanted to live freely, simply creating and designing amongst our powerful team of creatives. The landscape of ‘my perfect Yonder’ consisted of non-stop kooky photo shoots, events and clients that allowed us to create without restriction and inventory curation that surpassed our wildest imaginations.

However, the more we grew, the further I walked away from that true self experience. My soul began to become resentful and shut down my creative flow. ‘Keep this business running’ self didn’t have time for all that fluffy, pretty stuff. That self was inundated with taking business that we weren’t totally stoked about or aligned with simply to appease the need for funds to support our growing operation. We now had employees, rent, insurance, supplies, vehicles, etc. that needed to be supported. My true soul self sat in resentment and felt stifled that their true desires were now muffled and deemed unimportant.

Then I began to step back further to realize, this has been my whole life. And I’m willing to bet, A LOT of people’s lives out there. As children, we are encouraged to lead with our imagination, embody joy and embrace the fluffy stuff that make us laugh uncontrollably, and love without bounds. We hit those tricky teenage years and suddenly, it is deemed ‘immature’ and we are told to ‘grow up.’ Our priorities shift away from our own pure inner expression and trust in the innocence of that joy. And suddenly, we plug in to a society that defines all of our ‘truths’ for us. Fill in the blank for what you have been manipulated into believing…

We agree to hand over our personal power and truths to what society convinces us to be our ‘new normal.’ It boils down to this very last question…

In order to be loved you must be ________________

This is what everything boils down to. Love. Love for ourselves. Love for others. We are manipulated into believing that we are not successful, happy, beautiful or loved without all of the conditional things that we line up and prioritize outside of ourselves. You have to go to college to be successful. You have to have this type of wedding to be happy. You have to … It’s in everything. Social media, mainstream media and the entire visual obsession of pinterest trains us into a constant wheel of comparison and judgement. When at the root of it all, we are being conditioned that we are not worthy of love without X, Y or Z.

We now prioritize all the conditions and things outside of ourselves. We used to need nothing more than our pure imagination and own inner joy and knowingness to live happily. Now, we don’t even know ourselves without all of the conditions that have filled that void. We need all the things to feel full, and within that fullness we still can’t embody the pure joy that we experienced as a child. I have this ‘perfect’ house, now I can be happy (loved). I have this ‘perfect’ job, now I can be happy (loved). I have this ‘perfect’ wedding, now I can be happy (loved). I look this certain way, now I can be happy (loved). We’ve lost our truths and place our entire trust in everything outside of ourselves to provide us with love.

We have been sold the idea that in order to be loved we must sacrifice our true soul self. Can we move into remembrance that joy and love already exists within our souls as we are a fractal of a greater source that never wanted us to forget the power of those truths. We simply need to offer up the space. The space for the void to expand without the noise we are trained to fill it with. The space for us to remember the concept that we are loved unconditionally.

All it takes to shift is one move on the chess board. Reclaim you freaking power! Remember that others are not taking our power. Your world is simply presenting opportunities for you to either stand in your power or choose to give it away. We all have free will to do with what we want, so whatever choice you make is perfect. Simply take the perspective of observing each situation first before reacting and affecting your vibration.

All it took was simply losing everything to get me to let go of what I thought was keeping me safe.
