Twinkling blue eyes that reflected pain sometimes, a bit of fear at others, and always boundless joy and Love. Looking into the eyes of my friend Sally, you knew that you were accepted and trusted. After an accident in which she became a quadriplegic, her vulnerability and trust of the universe’s plan, kept her actively engaged in leading a community and holding the consciousness for all of us. So generously she shared her death with us …. so powerfully those who knew her literally felt the blessing of her death. Sweet sadness and joyful parting … we are better prepared for life through the way she chose to depart from us.
