Twinkling blue eyes that reflected pain sometimes, a bit of fear at others, and always boundless joy and Love. Looking into the eyes of my friend Sally, you knew that you were accepted and trusted. After an accident in which she became a quadriplegic, her vulnerability and trust of the universe’s plan, kept her actively engaged in leading a community and holding the consciousness for all of us. So generously she shared her death with us …. so powerfully those who knew her literally felt the blessing of her death. Sweet sadness and joyful parting … we are better prepared for life through the way she chose to depart from us.

I can hear you saying “But I thought that I knew how to do this ‘spiritual’ thing. I thought that if I worked hard at implementing what I’ve been taught, my circumstances would change.”

The ‘new’ you doesn’t need to work hard at anything. It feels comfortable with the feelings that come up, seeing discomfort as a part of the beauty of the training. It is not trying to run from anything. It wants to cooperate with what is required. It wants to be of service to You!

Whether you recognize it or not your DNA is actually changing. As you are on this planet Earth, you are capable of becoming whole universal consciousness. The earth has a lot to offer you in support of the aspects of your human-ness which you already have, and are changing. The change from feeling that higher consciousness is something beyond you, to knowing that you are of a higher order than previously understood, comes hand in hand with your DNA vibrating into something new, as the earth does herself.
