Hello lovelies! Thanks for listening (and reading!)
This is a re-run or a re-release (as I like to call them). I released this episode around a year ago (in January 2025).
I've always felt like the new year "go, go, go" attitude never resonated with me.
I like the idea of flowing (not frantic) going into the year. ;-)
Here's the Summary per Otter below:
Elizabeth West discusses her aversion to the "New year, new you" mentality, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and a slower, more intentional approach to life. She identifies as an introvert and empath, preferring slow mornings and a flowing rather than frantic approach to goals and intentions. West suggests that adopting the word "intention" over "goal" can reduce stress. She advocates for listening to one's inner child and body, and shares her personal routine of slow mornings, meditation, and journaling. She encourages others to embrace a natural pace and set intentions that align with their true selves.
Here are the transcripts per Otter!
If you've enjoyed this episode, can you please leave a review on Spotify or on Apple podcasts? Thank you in advance! :)
Sincerely,
Elizabeth

What is the Money: What's Self-love Got to Do with It? Audio Summit about and who is it for?
'Rewrite your money story from the inside out -- designed for women ready to rise into their worth.
A powerful, curated speaker audio summit (with transcripts), for women (and those that identify as women), who were raised to be selfless, taught to shrink, and conditioned to believe they had to earn their worthiness.'
