Mitris is a highly accomplished Adelaide-based player, who most recently made local headlines for following in his father's footsteps in representing the historic South Australian club with Cypriot roots, Adelaide Cobras FC after a storied career. Mitris was a standout player for West Adelaide FC in 2015, helping the former NSL giant capture the National Premier Leagues SA title with his goal scoring prowess. In 2014, he was a key cog in the Metrostars machine which went on to win the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition, while in 2010, Mitris was one of Adelaide United's standout young talents and was offered a place in the club's 2009/10 Asian Champions League roster. Mitris is one of the numerous Cobras stars who will grace the football pitch at the Naracoorte and District Sports Centre, affording Naracoorte's humble squad members the opportunity to test themselves against some of the state's top talents. Despite many viewing the clash as a 'David vs. Goliath' type affair, Mitris told the Flow Friday Sports Show that his teammates were equally as excited as their counterparts to match it with one of regional South Australia's unknown quantities.
