At the end of this class, you will learn how to produce 1 NEW sound that you didn’t know your lips could produce and perfect your pronunciation in English: the short "i".
You will need a mirror or your phone.
I want you all to feel what I (Renata) feel when I pronounce and hear these sounds. The same a-ha moment that I had when I realized the actual difference – OUTSIDE of any books or manuals. What I am about to tell you I figured out by observing and listening. I am probably not the first person to say this, but my point is: if you listen carefully to others and to yourself, you will learn so much. The production of sounds is mechanical. It can be repeated and copied and trained.
And, as usual, we are tackling a communication issue. Mixing up these sounds will get you into deep trouble, just as MC did – listen to her story in the video!
