Sk: Na kraji malej slovenskej dedinky s názvom Dubovica sa rozprestieral malý, ale veľmi živý jarmok.
En: At the edge of a small Slovenian village called Dubovica, there spread a small but lively fair.

Sk: Ľudia z dediny aj zo širokého okolia sa tu schádzali, aby predali svoje ručné práce, ovocie zo svojich záhrad a zvieratá z farmy.
En: People from the village and from the surrounding area gathered here to sell their handicrafts, fruit from their gardens, and animals from the farm.

Sk: Medzi stánkami s koloritnými výrobkami a vôňami domácej kuchyne sa prechádzal Lukáš s jeho sestrou Janou a kamarátkou Evou.

Sk: Tento večer mal mať výnimočnú atmosféru, pretože tu mala prebiehať oslava narodenín Jána, ktorý pozval svojich dvoch najlepších priateľov, Mareka a Elenu.
En: This evening was supposed to have an exceptional atmosphere because it was where Ján was going to celebrate his birthday, and he had invited his two best friends, Marek and Elena.

En: At the corner of the street, where the sun was just rising, stood a small vegetable shop, where everything unfolded.

Sk: Jana, ktorá bola známa svojím rýchlym krokom a veselým smiechom, tam išla pre čerstvú kapustu na večerný šalát.
En: Jana, known for her quick stride and cheerful laugh, went there to get fresh cabbage for the evening salad.

Sk: Obchod bol jej obľúbený, pretože tam pracoval jej dobrý priateľ Peter, ktorý vždy vedel, aká zelenina je najčerstvejšia.

Sk: Bolo krásne jarné ráno, keď sa Marek a Jana stretli, hoci ešte nevedeli že sa stretli, na letisku v Bratislave.
En: It was a beautiful spring morning when Marek and Jana met, though they didn't yet know they had met, at the airport in Bratislava.

Sk: Oba boli v rozpakoch a ponáhľali sa na svoje lety, každý s vlastnou cestou pred sebou.
En: Both were flustered, rushing to catch their flights, each with their own journey ahead.

Sk: Marek bol obchodný zástupca, ktorý mal ísť na dôležité stretnutie.
En: Marek was a business representative, heading to an important meeting.

Sk: Nesmierne si cenil svoj čas a prácu.
En: He valued his time and work immensely.

Sk: Mal pri sebe aktovku plnú dokumentov, laptop a všetko dôležité pre jeho prezentácie.
