Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog again. Today's another beautiful day to share with you another awesome recipe, and I hope you all enjoy it.

Doughnut is a snack many of us have enjoyed several times, and I usually don't get tired of them, especially when they are fluffy and delicious. Although I have reduced my consumption a lot, forgetting how much I ate as a kid is something impossible.

So, I started craving doughnuts today and decided to use some of the leftover ingredients from the chinchin I made on Monday. I had doubts if the ingredients would be enough, and surprisingly, I even had enough doughnuts to share with my neighbors.

The ingredients are:

  • 300g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered milk
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 2 teaspoonfuls of sugar
  • half teaspoon of salt
  • 500 ml of groundnut oil
  • 1 teaspoonful of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of yeast
  • Half teaspoon flavor
  • Procedure;

I started by mixing the ingredients with an electric mixer.

I turned half a cup of warm water into the mixer container.

I added the yeast, salt, sugar, and milk.

I mixed them with the mixer for about a minute before adding the melted butter and egg as well.

I mixed again for about a minute before turning the flour into the mixer's container.

I added the flour bit by bit until the mixture formed a batter.

I added some flour to the container and started kneading slowly until it formed a dough.

I put the dough in another container and kept it in a warm space for it to rise.

After an hour, the dough had risen properly, so I pressed it down.

It won't return to the usual size, but I reduced it pretty well.

I got my board and rolling pin for the rest of the job.

I cut the dough bit by bit and place them one after the other on an already oiled board.

I sprinkled some flour on the dough and rolled it. It was just a small roll since I don't want a flat doughnut.

I used a cup to cut out a circle from the flattened dough.

I used a bottle of water plastic to cut the small hole in the dough and kept it aside. I applied groundnut oil to the pan where I placed the dough to prevent it from sticking to the container.

I repeated the process until I exhausted the dough.

I turned some groundnut oil into the pan and allowed it to get hot.

I placed the dough in the hot oil and allowed it to fry until both sides of the doughnut were properly fried.

I put the fried doughnuts in a sieve to drain the excess oil and repeated the same process for the remaining dough.

After frying, I sprinkled some sugar on the doughnut since I didn't use any filling.

It tasted really good, and I enjoyed the doughnuts.
